Tusko
Early access is open for labs and practices

Never forgets a case.

Tusko gives dental practices and their labs one shared case. The Rx, scans, messages and due date live on it, so nothing slips between the chair and the bench.

Founded by Dr. Joel Gaudet Practising dentist, Wave Dentistry, White Rock, BC
  1. The scan finishes in the chair and goes straight to Tusko.
  2. At the practice: it lands in New Cases on its own.
  3. At the practice: assign it in three steps. Everything is prefilled.
  4. At the lab: the case opens, and it’s in production.
  5. At the lab, then the practice: questions happen on the case, with the files right there.
  6. At the lab: one click to ship it.
  7. At the practice: ready before the patient is.

Today, one case lives in five places.

Each one works fine on its own. Together, they’re where cases go missing.
  • Today: The paper Rx.A missing shade means a call between patients.

On TuskoThe Rx sits on the case with the scans and photos.

  • Today: The email thread.Scans buried in one person’s inbox.

On TuskoEvery file is on the case, for both sides.

  • Today: The text from the lab.A question on someone’s phone, away from the patient file.

On TuskoQuestions go in the case chat, next to the patient.

  • Today: The call at the front desk.Someone stops work to go and check.

On TuskoStatus updates live, so nobody has to ask.

  • Today: The spreadsheet.Only as current as the last person who remembered.

On TuskoChair Time checks every seat date against its case.

Everyone here is good at their job. The case still slips when it lives in five places.

Why Tusko exists

Dr. Joel Gaudet, founder of Tusko, in Wave Dentistry scrubs

Dr. Joel Gaudet, founder of Tusko.

Tusko was built by a dentist whose own cases kept going missing.

“I was missing too many things. Lab cases were going missing, and my head was exploding.”

I’m a dentist in White Rock. On a normal day I have two chairs running, three labs on the go, and all I hear is “Dr. Joel, Dr. Joel, Dr. Joel.”

Cases slipped. A night guard nobody made. A lab calling about a pontic for “Linda” after I’d seen 45 patients. Emails from one lab, texts from another.

So I built one place where every case lives, for my team and my labs. That’s Tusko.

One case, from the chair to the bench and back.

  1. Practice

    Assign the case

The scan lands in New Cases. Click Assign, confirm the Rx and seat date, and pick the lab.

  2. Lab

    It lands on the Floor

The case arrives complete and goes straight onto the lab’s Floor, ready to start.

  3. Both

    Questions stay on the case

The lab asks in the case’s chat, with the files right beside it. The dentist answers between patients.

  4. Lab

    Everyone sees it move

As the case moves through the lab, the practice sees every step without a phone call.

  5. Practice

    Ready before the patient is

Chair Time shows the next 14 days of appointments with lab work, coloured by whether each case will be back in time.

Built for both sides of the case.

For labs

Run every case from one Floor and spend less of your day on the phone.

  • Complete Rx with scans on arrival.
  • Questions answered on the case.
  • Practices check status themselves.
  • Insights on every practice’s case volume.

For practices

Know every case is ready before the patient sits down.

  • Chair Time flags late cases days ahead.
  • Every lab you use, in one place.
  • Questions arrive with the patient attached.
  • Turnaround and on-time rate for every lab.

What the chasing costs, in hours and dollars.

Two calculators, one for labs and one for practices, with every assumption shown and editable.

A lab handling 400 cases a month gets back about 34 hours and $1,304 a month.

A practice sending 40 cases a month gets back about 8.5 hours and $706 a month.

Estimates from each calculator’s default inputs. Change any of them to match how you work.

Early access is open, and we set up every account by hand.

That’s why places are limited. Labs and practices that join now start with a free trial and keep early access pricing for as long as they stay.

Patient information stays between the practice and the lab on the case.

Only your team and the people you work with on a case can open it.

How we protect patient data
What is Tusko?

Lab case management for dental practices and the labs they work with. The practice sends the Rx, the lab works the case, and both see the same case from start to finish.

Is Tusko a marketplace?

No. Tusko connects practices and labs that already work together.

What does it cost?

It depends on whether you’re a lab or a practice and how you work. We quote it on a 20-minute demo, and labs and practices that join during early access get early access pricing and a free trial.

How long does setup take?

We set you up on a welcome call and run your first live case with you.

Does it work with my scanner?

Scans from iTero arrive in Tusko on their own. From any other scanner, upload the files onto the case, and tell us which one you use: we add integrations as our practices and labs need them.

What if my lab or practice isn’t on Tusko yet?

Invite them from your account and we’ll help bring them on.

See one case from both sides in 20 minutes.

Tell us how your lab work runs today, and we’ll show you the same case from the practice and from the lab.

Early access places are limited.
